For over four decades, Madhvi Nahar has been designing spaces from the heart. What began as a love for beautiful homes, thoughtful details and well-made furniture gradually became a lifelong journey of transforming interiors, creating bespoke pieces and giving old furniture another life.

Madhvi never built her practice around aggressive marketing or commercial expansion. Her work travelled from one family to another almost entirely through word of mouth.

Clients returned. Their friends called. Children of old clients eventually came back with homes of their own. Through it all, her approach remained deeply personal.

A home should evolve around the people who live there.

Sometimes the most beautiful piece in a room is one the family already owns. An old dining table can be restored. A chair can be reupholstered. A forgotten cabinet can become the centre of a room.

And when something new is needed, Madhvi designs furniture with the same philosophy she has always valued — honest materials, sound construction and pieces intended to last. Thoughtful choices can make a beautiful transformation without replacing everything or spending unnecessarily.

Studio M is the first time this body of work is being brought together and documented. Because forty years of homes, furniture and stories deserve to be remembered.
